Nascido em 1975 em São Paulo, Fabio Morais é conhecido por ser um artista visual escritor. Utilizando a escrita e o livro como bases de suas investigações artísticas, Morais explora e desafia o modo como arte visual,  história e política se envolvem e secruzam.

Ao longo de sua trajetória, o artista participou de importantes exposições de arte, como a 29a Bienal de São Paulo e 8a Bienal Mercosul, em Porto Alegre, e teve obras exibidas em instituições como MAM-SP, Instituto Tomie Ohtake, MAC Lyon, em Lyon, Contemporary Jewish Museum,em São Francisco.

No início de 2017, Morais teve seus trabalhos apresentados em uma exposição solo na Galeria Vermelho, intitulada “Escritexpográfica”. Nesses trabalhos, o artista se aprofundou nas ideias de “apropriação, uso, recomposição e recontextualização de imagens e textos em um exercício de ‘escrita-sampler’”- como ele mesmo coloca. Morais se interessa pela possível criação de novos significados que provocam o olhar e o pensamento crítico sobre a política global e brasileira.

Lives and works in São Paulo . Fábio Morais is known for being a visual artist and writer. Using writing and books as the basis for his artistic investigations, Morais explores and challenges the way visual art, history and politics engage and secrete.

Throughout his career, the artist participated in important art exhibitions, such as the 29th Bienal de São Paulo and 8a Bienal Mercosul, in Porto Alegre, and had works exhibited in institutions such as MAM-SP, Tomie Ohtake Institute, MAC Lyon, in Lyon, Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco.

In early 2017, Morais had his works presented in a solo exhibition at Galeria Vermelho, entitled “Escritexpográfica”. In these works, the artist delved into the ideas of “appropriation, use, recomposition and recontextualization of images and texts in an exercise of 'writing-sampler'” - as he himself puts it. Morais is interested in the possible creation of new meanings that provoke the look and critical thinking about global and Brazilian politics.
