A dupla é formada por Franz Manata, Belo Horizonte, MG, 1964 e Saulo Laudares, Belo Horizonte, MG, 1976.

Vivem e trabalham no Rio de Janeiro, RJ, são artistas que investigam diferentes mídias e áreas do pensamento. Desenvolvem, desde 1996, o projeto SoundSystem, que nasceu em 1996, em Belo Horizonte, com a convergência de parte das pesquisas dos artistas.

Receberam o prêmio Interferências Urbanas em 2008 e já foram mencionados em publicações como O Globo e revista DasArtes. Possuem obras na coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, do MAM-Rio.

The duo is formed by Franz Manata, Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil, 1964 and Saulo Laudares, Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil 1976.

They live and work in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, where they investigate different media and areas of thought. Since 1996 they have developed the SoundSystem project, which was was born in in Belo Horizonte, with the convergence of part of the artists' research.

They received the Urban Interferencias award in 2008 and have already been mentioned in publications such as O Globo and DasArtes magazine. They have works in the Gilberto Chateaubriand collection, from MAM-Rio.
