Patrícia Francisco

Artista Plástica, Doutoranda em Artes pela EBA – UFRJ com bolsa CAPES, Mestre em Artes pela Escola de Comunicação e Artes – ECA – USP, Bacharel em Artes pelo Instituto de Artes – IA – UFRGS. Cineasta com registro profissional de diretor cinematográfico drt 4892/São Paulo, tendo realizado em sua filmografia longas, médias e curtas-metragens. Em sua pesquisa em Artes trata da Cultura Afro-Brasileira relacionada a Escravidão, com estudos a partir do processo histórico colonial e da espiritualidade de matriz Africana, em vias de dar ênfase a liberdade dos negros por uma reflexão com histórias que ainda ressoam no Contemporâneo. Realizou diversas exposições na Argentina, Colômbia, Espanha, Estados Unidos, França, Itália, Peru, Malásia, Romênia e Brasil.

Filmmaker with professional record of cinematographic director drt 4892 / São Paulo, having made in her filmography long, medium and short films. In her research in Arts he deals with Afro-Brazilian Culture related to Slavery, with studies based on the colonial historical process and the spirituality of African origin, in the process of emphasizing the freedom of blacks through a reflection on stories that still resonate in the Contemporary. She held several exhibitions in Argentina, Colombia, Spain, United States, France, Italy, Peru, Malaysia, Romania and Brazil.
