Marcius Galan é nascido em Indianapolis, EUA em 1972. Hoje o artista vive e trabalha em São Paulo.
No fim da década de 1990, é convidado para integrar o Ateliê 3, da artista Dora Longo Bahia (1961) e dos curadores Eduardo Brandão (1957) e Felipe Chaimovich (1968) e também trabalha como produtor no Paço das Artes.
Em 2003 ganhou uma bolsa residência de 6 meses na Cité des Arts em Paris através da FAAP e no ano seguinte passou 3 meses de residência no Art Institute de Chicago através da bolsa Iberê Camargo.
Vencedor do PIPA 2012, Finalista do PIPA 2010, Membro do Comitê de Indicação do PIPA 2013.

Marcius Galan was born in Indianapolis, USA in 1972. Today the artist lives and works in São Paulo.
Towards the end of the 1990s, he was invited to join Ateliê 3, by artist Dora Longo Bahia (1961) and curators Eduardo Brandão (1957) and Felipe Chaimovich (1968) and also works as a producer in Paço das Artes.
In 2003 he won a 6 month residency grant at the Cité des Arts in Paris through FAAP and the following year spent 3 months at the Art Institute of Chicago through the Iberê Camargo scholarship.
Winner of PIPA 2012, Finalist of PIPA 2010, Member of the Nominating Committee of PIPA 2013.
