A artista radicada em Berlim, Sabina Maria van der Linden (http://www.no1girl.net/) e o artista Bruno Mendonça realizam no dia 25/05 a performance “Things to Come” no espaço da 55SP Galeria dentro do programa Dissonante idealizado por Julia Morelli em parceria com o curador Marcio Harum, que tem como foco as relações entre som e performance e que já contou em sua primeira edição com a participação da banda performática CÃO dos artistas Dora Longo Bahia, Maurício Ianês, Ricardo Carioba e Bruno Palazzo.
A performance “Things to Come” é um experimento, resultado do processo de interlocução iniciado em 2016 entre os dois artistas durante o primeiro período de residência artística de Sabina no Brasil. Os dois artistas tem em comum em suas práticas artísticas o uso do texto com dispositivo crítico e poético e que se expande e desdobra para trabalhos de arte sonora, performance, audiovisual. Atuando com metodologias como o spoken word, a lecture performance e técnicas de vocalização os dois artistas prepararam uma espécie de “peça” que aborda as relações entre amor e commodity dentro do contexto neoliberal e pós-capitalista. Tomando o espaço da loja PAIR que divide o mesmo galpão com a 55SP Galeria, os artistas usam o local como uma espécie de set. Apesar do aparente viés site-specific os artistas acreditam que pelo statement da performance, qualquer lugar que esteja inserido como sintoma nesta problemática “subjetividade-economia” se encaixa como “cenário” possível para a performance, seja um apartamento em uma grande cidade, um equipamento cultural, um café, um consultório médico, entre tantos outros, afinal existiria algum espaço hoje, físico ou não que estaria livre da relação econômica dos afetos?
*No segundo semestre deste ano será lançada na 55SP Galeria pelo projeto Dissonante, uma publicação sonora como desdobramento e resultado deste trabalho.

Berlin-based artist Sabina Maria van der Linden ( http://www.no1girl.net/ ) and artist Bruno Mendonça perform on "25 / 05 the performance" Things to Come "in the space of 55 } SP Gallery within the Dissonante program conceived by Julia Morelli in partnership with the curator Marcio Harum, whose focus is the relationship between sound and performance and which already featured in its first edition with the participation of the DOG band of artists Dora Longo Bahia, Maurício Ianês, Ricardo Carioba and Bruno Palazzo.
The "Things to Come" performance is an experiment, a result of the process of dialogue initiated in 2016 between the two artists during Sabina's first period of artistic residency in Brazil. The two artists have in common in their artistic practices the use of the text with a critical and poetic device and that expands and unfolds for works of sound art, performance, audiovisual. Working with methodologies such as spoken word, lecture performance and vocalization techniques, the two artists prepared a kind of "play" that addresses the relationship between love and commodity within the neoliberal and post-capitalist context. Taking the space of the PAIR store that divides the same warehouse with the 55 SP Gallery, the artists use the place as a kind of set. Despite the apparent site-specific bias, artists believe that by the performance statement, any place that is inserted as a symptom in this problematic "subjectivity-economy" fits as a possible "scenario" for performance, be it an apartment in a large city, cultural equipment, a café, a doctor's office, among many others, would there be any space today, physical or not, that would be free from the economic relation of the affections?
